gracie at 10 months!

I have so much to catch up on, and Gracie is first. She is TEN MONTHS OLD! What the?! I completely missed blogging in between 6 months and now...time is totally flying by. she scream talks...usually yelling, "BABABABABABAAAAAAAAAA!", has one tooth, usually rolls around to move but just barely started army crawling and crawling, says "dada", "mama", "baby", and has also said "baba" (bottle) and "puppy". she loves her toys, books, and stuffed animals. she loves reading time, going on walks, and finger food - especially apple slices and puffs. she snuggles mom and dad and will occasionally give kisses. she waves and claps like a professional and is very excited when dad comes home at the end of the day. She loves her grandparents and all kids, but especially her cousins! At her 9 month check up she weighed 15 lb 8 oz in the 4th percentile (tiny girl), was 27 inches long in the 29th percentile, and head in the 37th percentile. Now, time for a PICTURE EXPLOSION!

Our adventures the past four months include daws going to Austin for work (we survived), me passing the NCLEX and completing a semester of the bachelor's program (hallelujah!), sleeping at Finn's new home in Draper, skiing (without gracie), going to st george with the cousins, selling our first home and moving to our second home, going to my grandpa's cabin and playing in the snow, celebrating easter, and gracie spending a couple days at each grandma's house while daws and i were in CABO. there will be more to come on all of that stuff!

Los Cabos

Because my amazing husband did such a stellar job last year selling, we were able to go to Los Cabos, Mexico for four days, all inclusive and paid for and sponsored by his work! This was two weeks ago and we left that Thursday, which was Dawson's birthday! We stayed at Sheraton Hacienda del Mar, which is a gorgeous resort right on the beach. We traveled with two other couples (work friends) and had an amazing time!

snorkeling at chileno beach

the resort...the waves were HUGE and the boys were nonstop playing in them, giving everyone staying there entertainment and setting bad examples for the children.

dawson was feeling really sick our first night there but got better quickly thank goodness! it was SO HARD being away from gracie but i actually got used to not having a baby on my hip every second and being able to just take care of myself while spending some time with friends and one-on-one time with my husband. she was taken very good care of by her grandmas and we were happy to get home to her.

some other thing we did on our trip was have endless virgin pina coladas, eat yummy mexican food and seafood, visit downtown and some markets, take many walks on the beach, and take a glass bottom boat tour.

i was ready to pack up the baby and head back the three of us after we got home.
