Lake St. George Trip 2016

We had another great trip to St. George with the whole family this year! We didn't bring the boat down like we usually do, so we took advantage of the extra time to try some new adventures.

Red Cliffs Hike in Leeds
This was a really mellow and cool hike! The kids loved playing on the rocks, catching frogs, and playing in the water.

Toquerville Falls
We were able to use our 4WD to drive to toquerville falls, which was really cool! This was another really fun place to play. We were lucky enough to get there when no one else was there, but before we left it got crazy crowded!

Glitter Mountain
While the boys were golfing, the girls took the kids to glitter mountain near the Utah/Arizona border where they could mine their own gypsum crystal rocks.

These were the main new things we did during our trip, but of course we also went swimming, went for walks on the golf course, watched movies and played games, and enjoyed time with the family! Dawson and I took advantage of Gracie's naps to relax and read, watch soccer, and nap. Gracie was in heaven being in the same house and doing fun things with her cousins the whole time. She has been asking to go to St. George since we left. We drove home in the evening on the 4th of July and were able to watch fireworks all over from the freeway on our way home. We are so blessed to live in a free land, to have the opportunities to work and to play, and to have such wonderful family and friends to enjoy life with!
