it's crazy to look back on this past month and think of how much has happened. for conference weekend we spent an amazing few days in st george with dawson's parents.
i'm accepted into weber state's nursing school and i'll be starting in january! our life is about to get really crazy (i already thought it kinda was...) but i am absolutely stoked!
we have made an addition to our family. her name is princess ashley (goes by ash) and is a shiny black beautiful sweetheart. it was a really hard decision to make, getting another dog, but with how much we're gone at work and school we thought it would be best for jude to have a friend.
so far it's not much more work because jude is actually the crazy one, ash is very calm.
and i'm pretty sure they're soulmates.
my brother went through the temple last weekend and i can't believe how close we are to him leaving on his mission...less than two months! i'm not even going to talk about how much i'm going to miss the kid. but we are all so excited for him and i'm enjoying all the time our family spends collectively talking about his mission and dawson sharing his own experiences in the countries bordering kason's.
also last weekend, dawson's sister jessica had her fourth baby! they didn't find out what it was til they had it, and it was a GIRL! after having three boys in their family already everyone was very excited for baby norah ruby to be here.
i love halloween. i love the decorations, haunted houses, corn mazes, treats, parties, carving pumpkins, and dressing up. i'm sad it's over. what a fun time we had going to haunted houses with my dad, on a corn maze date, to friend and family parties, carving pumpkins together, and last but not least...handing out candy to our trick-or-treaters! i guess i'm officially grown up now, handing out candy at my own house. i absolutely loved it though. daws dressed as a monkey dummy on our porch and scared kids who walked up and i was the retro ski bum who gave them the candy. for our friend party, we were ron burgundy and veronica corningstone. stay classy, planet earth.

p.s. halloween being over means one fabulous thing:
it's the most wonderful time of the year!!
my christmas music goes on: today.
