i think this is the first year i've actually disliked winter. maybe it's because of the fact that every time it snows my husband has to go shovel for work, whether it's in the middle of the day or the middle of the night. the snow owns my husband. i'm a nice enough wife to help him in the afternoons or evenings, but not quite nice enough to get up with him at 4AM.
but this winter...i am done with. i am so ready to wear shorts and t-shirts, to go boating, to have a garden and take my dogs on walks every day. i want to go swimming and fall asleep in the sun and ride my bike. the good news is that every day we are one day closer to summer!
& my summer break from school will also be very nice. nursing school is so hard. i know, "nursing school is hard" is quite the cliche, but you don't understand how true it is unless you do it. regardless, i am so glad i'm doing it. i just keep telling myself it's worth it.
another thing that's hard but so worth it is having your brother on a mission. i truly feel like i've become closer to him through letters and emails, and i am so proud of him! since he still doesn't have his visa, he's been reassigned to the north carolina charlotte mission until it comes through! and he leaves tomorrow! i'm so excited for him!
well, my birthday was amazing and i was able to spend time with my family and go snowboarding with my best friend! dawson and i are now proud gun owners. our dogs are great as ever and being a dog owner has become a more smooth ordeal. valentine's day was also awesome! we went to DQ. no, not because my husband is cheap, but because we both have the same preference of a good meal.
have i mentioned how much i love being married?
at our nephew's birthday party, daws looked up how to make balloon poodles on youtube, and soon each kid had a balloon poodle! he's awesome.
