crazy alert: if you're not a dog lover, i'm going to sound like a crazy old dog lady.
crazy old dog ladies are like crazy old cat ladies, but you replace the cats with dogs.
dogs think the world of their owners. they are extremely forgiving, you can get mad at them one second and the next second they are cuddling up to you and wagging their tail when you acknowledge them. if you have a dog there is no way in the world you cannot feel loved. they simply just love you through their eyes.
i got home from a crappy day at work today to my two dogs running to the gate to meet me. their excitement at me being home instantly got to me and i felt a thousand times happier.
i played with my [dog] children in the leaves, throwing the leaves at them while they jumped up to bite them and running around taking pictures. i imagine these are the things mothers of humans do. (crazy status.)
and as much as i want to be a mother of humans, i couldn't be happier with my dogs right now.
jude and ash are best friends. we say that jude is like dawson because he is masqueline and happy and extremely energetic. and ash is like me because she is sweet, lazy, and not as attractive as jude is. but she's still really cute...and quite the sweet spirit. anyway, they are a great match and we sure love them both.
in a dog book a friend of mine gave me (crazy status) reads this quote:
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

another thing is it's quite nice working with my sister-in-law. we don't work together a lot, but i love when we do. today she brought in bagels for breakfast and let me vent to her about how unbelievably stressed out i was. she pretty much saved my mood and therefore is my hero.
