home sweet home.

hello blogging world, i'm back. since i last regularly posted, i started a new job, we bought and remodeled a house, got married, honeymooned, and bought a puppy.

our house is perfect for us. for three weeks straight we spent every waking moment that we weren't at work working at our home. we scraped lots of wallpaper, pulled up lots of carpet, spackeled and sanded, and painted lots! we had so much help from our family and also some of our friends. it was absolutely amazing to have so many people support and help us get our home ready by the time we were married. i'm so grateful for the opportunity we had to fix the home up and make it ours. it was some hard work, and was very overwhelming at times, but it has been incredibly rewarding. i always loved being there to work and it was fantastic to come home from our honeymoon to our own house that we worked so hard on.

being in my own home with my husband is the best feeling ever. i am in love with my life.

the wedding was amazing. once again so many people worked so hard to make the wedding what it was, and it was absolutely perfect. i will post more about the wedding and honeymoon later!
