Winter to Spring

Winter: Daws went to Florida for work for a week, I started my job at Primary Children's Hospital, we went to Nashville, went skiing a few times, and I survived the first trimester of pregnancy. Honestly, winter was TOUGH for me. I was miserable the first trimester of pregnancy and while I have really liked my job, adjusting to working full time and leaving Gracie was a really hard adjustment. Things have gotten better though, and I couldn't be happier for spring!

I was so pleased with how this teepee turned out! I did all of the sewing while Dawson was in Florida and I didn't get around to finishing it for weeks, but Gracie (and I) have loved it.

I am grateful for all of the fun memories we made at the beginning of this year, and I am excited for all of the good things to come!

Nashville

In February we flew to Nashville on a thursday evening to spend the weekend with Nick, Madison, and Kate. We had so much fun! It was freezing basically the whole weekend so it was hard to get out and do a whole lot outside with the babies, but we had an awesome time just all hanging out together! We visited downtown, Centennial Park, the Tennessee State Museum, Belle Meade Plantation, had a ton of amazing food, played games, and caught up on life. Two of our favorite restaurants were Hattie B's Hot Chicken and Loveless Cafe. We were sad to have to go home, but are looking forward to them living in Salt Lake this summer. Gracie's first trip flying was also a success! Mostly due to watching Mickey Mouse, though.

Baby Boy Coming August 2016!

I am 21 weeks along now! We are so excited to be having our kids be so close in age - 2 years! We are also excited to have one of each gender. I know that baby boy will be a great addition to our family and that Gracie will be an awesome big sister!
